By accessing or using Doux Parenting , including its website, dashboard, browser extension, alerts, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
The Service is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. By using the Service, you represent that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms and to use the Service for parental or guardian-related purposes.
Doux Parenting is a parental assistance tool designed to help parents and guardians better understand online video content viewed on supported platforms such as YouTube.
The Service analyzes supported content signals to generate parent-facing safety insights, including safety scores, concern scores, category flags, summaries, estimated age guidance, alert triggers, creator ratings, live session ratings, and related scan history.
Analysis may include video metadata, transcript text, limited temporary audio sampling and audio-derived text when transcripts are unavailable, and limited live chat text for certain live content, in each case for purposes of classification and parent-facing safety insights.
The Service is intended to support parental awareness and decision-making but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of any analysis or alert.
Safety scores, summaries, category flags, creator ratings, live session ratings, and other outputs generated by Doux Parenting are produced through automated systems and AI-assisted analysis.
Automated analysis may contain errors, omissions, delays, inconsistencies, or misclassifications and should be considered informational guidance only.
The Service does not guarantee detection of all harmful, inappropriate, manipulative, or age-inappropriate content.
Parents or guardians must make final decisions regarding content suitability, supervision, and any action taken based on Service outputs.
Doux Parenting is a tool intended to support parental awareness and supervision. It does not replace parental judgment, co-viewing, discussion, or independent review of content.
Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for supervising a child’s media consumption and determining what content is appropriate.
You should not rely exclusively on scores, summaries, ratings, labels, or alerts generated by the Service when making parenting or safety decisions.
Certain features of the Service may be offered in beta, experimental, or early-access form.
Beta features may change, malfunction, be interrupted, or be removed at any time without notice.
By using beta or experimental features, you acknowledge that the Service may contain bugs, incomplete functionality, temporary inaccuracies, or inconsistent results.
You agree not to:
Doux Parenting interacts with third-party platforms such as YouTube to analyze supported content signals.
Doux Parenting is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or any other third-party platform.
We are not responsible for the availability, operation, accuracy, policies, or content of third-party services.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, devices, browser environment, and settings used to access the Service.
You agree to provide accurate account and settings information and to update that information if it changes.
You are also responsible for the alert thresholds, communication preferences, child profile aliases, and other monitoring settings configured through your account.
If alerts are enabled, notifications may be generated based on scan outcomes, safety analysis results, ratings, or parent-configured thresholds.
Alert delivery cannot be guaranteed due to factors including browser behavior, device conditions, email systems, network conditions, third-party providers, or other technical interruptions.
The absence of an alert does not mean content is safe, and the presence of an alert does not by itself establish that content is harmful.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit the Service without permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doux Parenting and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Service.
This includes damages related to content misclassification, missed detection, service interruptions, scan failures, delayed alerts, technical errors, third-party platform changes, or reliance on automated analysis results.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doux Parenting and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of the rights of any third party.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are violated or if the Service is used in a way that threatens security, stability, legal compliance, or the rights of others.
Users may discontinue use of the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If a dispute arises between you and Doux Parenting related to the Service, both parties agree to try to resolve the matter first through informal, good-faith communication.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved in accordance with applicable law and legal procedures in the jurisdiction specified in these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes occur, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
