Doux Parenting

AI Disclaimer

1. Purpose of the Service

Doux Parenting is designed to help parents and guardians better understand supported online video content by using automated systems to generate parent-facing safety insights, including safety scores, concern scores, content flags, summaries, estimated age guidance, creator ratings, live session ratings, alert triggers, and related scan history.

These outputs are informational tools only. They are not guarantees, certifications, or definitive determinations that any content is safe, unsafe, child-appropriate, or inappropriate.

2. Automated AI Analysis

Doux Parenting uses automated models and AI-assisted systems to analyze content-related signals such as transcript text, metadata, temporary audio-derived text, and limited live chat text where applicable.

In some cases, when transcripts are unavailable or incomplete, the Service may use short temporary audio samples from supported content in order to generate audio-derived text for classification.

Because AI systems rely on pattern recognition, statistical inference, probabilistic outputs, and context-sensitive interpretation, results may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, or mistaken.

For example, the Service may misunderstand tone or context, miss sarcasm, coded language, evolving slang, background sounds, or chat context, fail to detect certain harmful material, or flag content that may not actually be harmful in context.

3. No Guarantee of Detection

Doux Parenting does not guarantee that it will identify all harmful, explicit, violent, sexual, manipulative, bullying, grooming-related, self-harm-related, drug-related, or otherwise age-inappropriate material.

No AI-based system can guarantee perfect detection, perfect age matching, perfect scoring, perfect creator or session ratings, or perfect contextual understanding across all videos, shorts, live streams, edits, languages, accents, chat conditions, background audio conditions, or platform behaviors.

4. Not a Substitute for Parenting or Human Review

Doux Parenting does not replace parental judgment, supervision, co-viewing, discussion, or independent review of content.

Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for deciding what media is appropriate for their child and for supervising a child’s online activity.

You should not rely exclusively on AI-generated scores, summaries, ratings, labels, scan history, or alerts when making parenting or safety decisions.

5. Not Professional Advice

The Service does not provide legal, medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, educational, crisis intervention, or other professional advice.

If you believe a child may be at risk of harm, exploitation, abuse, self-harm, or another urgent safety concern, you should contact qualified professionals, local resources, or emergency services as appropriate.

6. Content and Technical Limitations

Some content may be more difficult to analyze accurately, especially live streams, rapidly changing videos, heavily edited clips, overlapping audio, low-quality audio, missing or incomplete transcripts, limited chat visibility, or content that changes after a scan.

Results may also vary based on browser conditions, platform changes, extension permissions, internet connectivity, third-party service behavior, and other technical or operational factors outside our control.

7. Audio Processing Limitation

When transcripts are unavailable or incomplete, Doux Parenting may use short temporary audio samples from supported content solely for automated classification and related safety insight generation.

These audio samples are processed temporarily and are not intended to be stored as permanent recordings.

8. Ratings, Summaries, and Scan History

Creator ratings, live session ratings, summaries, flags, and scan history are AI-assisted or algorithmically generated outputs based on available content signals and service logic at the time of analysis.

These outputs may change over time, may be affected by incomplete inputs, and should not be treated as permanent factual judgments about a creator, a stream, or a particular piece of content.

9. Use at Your Own Judgment

By using Doux Parenting, you understand and accept that AI-generated outputs are advisory only. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the results.

10. Limitation of Reliance

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doux Parenting disclaims responsibility for decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated outputs, including scores, summaries, age guidance, ratings, alerts, content flags, and scan history.
